We utilize two methods to capture a true likeness, depending on the circumstances:

  • Digital 3D Scanning: For living subjects, we use high-precision 3D scanning technology to capture a three-dimensional rendering in real-time. This is the most accurate method available, producing a "1:1" digital twin that serves as the perfect foundation for a sculpture.

  • Photo-to-3D Reconstruction: When a subject has passed, we utilize a sophisticated blend of photo editing and 3D modeling software. By analyzing a series of 10–20 photographs, we manually translate 2D details into a detailed 3D form. This meticulous process ensures the final commemorative bust remains a true and tangible reflection of their essence.

How long does the custom creation process take?

The timeline for each piece varies based on the level of customization and the specific service requested:

  • Commemorative Sculptures: Once we have completed a 3D scan or received your submitted photo collection, the design and production process typically takes 5 to 15 business days.

  • Custom Ancient Urns: For urns featuring a custom surface or pattern, the process generally takes 5 to 10 business days from the moment your final design pattern is selected and confirmed.

What kind of photos do I need to provide for a custom sculpture?

To achieve the highest level of realism, we recommend providing 20 clear, high-resolution photos. A diverse set of images helps us accurately map the unique depth and contours of your loved one’s features.

  • Ideal Perspectives: Include a primary front-facing portrait along with several side profile shots (left and right).

  • Lighting Matters: For the best results, avoid "blown out" (overexposed) images or photos with heavy, dark shadows across the face, as these can obscure fine details.

  • Older or Low-Quality Photos: We understand that sometimes only vintage or lower-resolution photos are available. Our team is experienced in working with these limited references to still create a beautiful, meaningful likeness.
